Established in 2013, Clare’s Little Stars Preschool & Afterschool service offers outstanding quality childcare in a safe and stimulating learning environment. Central to most local primary schools our spacious premises is situated in the town of Ballybofey, less than 500 yards from The Bank of Ireland on the Glenfin Road (F93 TY01). Ideal for families from Ballybofey, Stranorlar and surrounding areas, indeed many families travel to us from from Glenfin, Convoy and Killygordon.

Clare’s Little Stars Preschool & All Stars Afterschool Service, a privately owned play-based early years’ service opens from 9am to 6.30pm throughout the school year. Fully insured, our professional service operates within all Irish quality and regulatory frameworks www.tusla.ie/preschool-services/, legal requirements, good practice standards and the importance of Safety and Hygiene is always to the forefront.

Our preschool Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) programme is free of charge to all families (children aged 2.8 – 6 years). Children can avail of morning (9 -12 noon) or afternoon sessions (12.20-3.30pm) and have a choice of large or small groups, with different size “classes” available.

Through using a professional fun based programme, the aim of the ECCE scheme is to support your child’s learning and social development and to prepare them for the challenges of the bigger world and primary school.

Just as in our All Stars Afterschool Service for school going children (aged 4 – 12.5 years) where we also promote an inclusive culture, we provide a broad based, flexible programme of recreational activities in a welcoming, relaxed and trustworthy environment. It is our aim to support the wellbeing of each child in our care, taking their unique interests and needs into consideration. Another part of our uniqueness is we are a degree led service and the staff’s genuine love, understanding and interest in children, combined with their high standard of qualifications, will very importantly give you the peace of mind that your child is being looked after with kindness and expertise. The entire Little Star’s Team are Garda vetted, have all the required qualifications and we continually invest in training courses to keep our staff up to date on the latest childcare developments, policies, procedures and best practices of childcare for preschool and afterschool environments.
